What is balayage?

Balayage is a colouring technique where lightener or colour is applied by hand in sweeping strokes instead of in a strict foil pattern. The result is soft, blended dimension that grows out gently, often with a lighter, brighter finish through the mid-lengths and ends.

What is the difference between balayage and highlights?

Both add lighter pieces to your hair, but they are applied differently and look different.

What affects balayage price and appointment time?

Balayage is a starting price. Hair length, thickness, existing colour, the lightness you want and whether toner, a haircut or a blowout is added all change the final cost and the time needed. Alex confirms your price before the service begins and explains the expected time when you book.

Before your appointment
